17 July 2026 — Trust Gate is set up as a neutral venue for businesses to find, check and contact each other: buyers and sellers pay each other directly, and the platform earns from shop membership, advertising and freight.
Trust Gate chose not to hold money in ordinary trade between buyers and sellers. The platform screens shops and shows how far each has been checked, and provides tools to search, request quotes and make contact; agreeing and paying is between the parties.
The platform therefore earns from services that do not touch the parties’ money: shop membership, on-platform advertising and freight. Pages where it matters carry a notice explaining that scope.
