Trade safely on Trust Gate
Trust Gate is a neutral venue that never holds anyone’s money. We vet sellers rigorously, but the contract is directly between the parties. These five habits keep you safe.

Always verify the shop code first
Every real shop has a non-editable TG-xxxxx code. Check it on the “Verify a shop code” page — if there’s no match, or it doesn’t match the shop name, be careful.

Check the badge and history
Document- and onsite-verified shops carry a badge. Read reviews from real buyers and the fulfilment score before deciding.

Talk and agree on-platform
Use the RFQ system and in-app chat so there is a timestamped record if a dispute ever arises.

Use logistics as a delivery witness
Where you can, ship via the Trust Gate network — it produces a real pickup–delivery record, a neutral proof that stands in for escrow.

Don’t pay in full to an unproven shop
For a first deal with a shop that has no track record, consider a partial deposit and inspect the goods before paying the rest.

- Rushing you to pay “before someone else buys”
- Pushing you to move off-platform to chat or pay from the start
- A price far below the market
- No TG- shop code, or a code that doesn’t match the claimed name
- Refusing a recorded shipment, insisting on an untraceable delivery
