20 July 2026 — Buyers and sellers on Trust Gate can now chat in real time; messages are kept as a record that cannot be edited afterwards and are visible only to the two parties.
Live chat lets buyers ask about products, prices and terms without leaving the platform. Messages are append-only — they cannot be edited or deleted afterwards — so the conversation stands as a record of what the parties agreed.
Only the buyer and seller in a conversation can read it, the same rule that governs the rest of the platform’s data.
