Clearance lots on Trust Gate: shops can edit, close and delete their lots, and buyers choose how to pay once the shop confirms
7 October 2026 — Shops on Trust Gate can now edit, relist, close and delete their clearance lots, and once a shop confirms a reservation the buyer chooses to pay by transfer, cash, cash on delivery, credit terms, or to agree it in chat — Trust Gate never receives or holds the money.

From 7 October 2026 the "Clearance lots" section of the shop dashboard lists every lot the shop has posted, with Edit, Close and Delete. A shop can change the title, quantity, price, reason for clearance, minimum order, fulfilment method and photos (add, remove, choose the cover), and relist a lot that has closed or timed out by picking a new selling period.
So that terms never change under a buyer, a lot cannot be edited while a reservation on it is pending or confirmed — it can always be closed. A lot that has ever been reserved cannot be deleted, because it is the buyer’s order history and part of the shop’s fulfilment record; it can be closed instead. These rules are enforced in the database, not only by the buttons on the page.
For buyers, reserving works as before, with a new step after the shop confirms. "My orders" now shows Reserved → Shop confirms → Choose payment → Handover. The buyer chooses bank transfer or PromptPay, cash on pickup, cash on delivery, credit terms or cheque, or to agree it in chat, and can add a note. The shop is notified straight away and sees the choice on the reservation.
The choice is a message to the shop and nothing more. Trust Gate takes no part in the payment and never receives, holds or transfers anyone’s money; paying is agreed directly between buyer and shop, and there are no fees on reservations or trades.
