How to request a quote (RFQ) and get the best price
A good Request for Quote (RFQ) gets you fast, competitive prices — the clearer your details, the better the price sellers will offer. Include these five things every time.
1. Product and spec — model, size, material, colour, or the standard you need.
2. The quantity you’ll actually order — and ask for volume price breaks (e.g. 500 / 1,000 / 5,000 units).
3. Delivery deadline and destination — so sellers can estimate lead time and freight.
4. Your terms — payment, packaging, or documentation requirements.
5. A convenient way to reach you — so details can be worked out quickly.
Tip: send the same RFQ to several verified sellers, then compare price, lead time, and responsiveness. On Trust Gate, one request reaches sellers in your chosen category, and you can see each shop’s average response time before deciding.
